A DAY FOR DAISIES FOR MOMS, SCS COLOR CHALLENGE & SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH

Good day everyone,

Do we really want to talk about the weather...Well, the sun is shining in my scraproom anyway. (huge smile) I made this card playing with old dps I had from K & Company (amy butler collection. It was a gift from my niece. I am happy I took them out. A day for daisies is having a fun challenge for mother's day so I used one of  Tammy's pretty mom and daughter image A GOOD BOOK.

I used Karen's SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH and cutting the circle was different and I like the end result as alot of the cards on Karen's blog. Almost forgot about the color challenge on SCS.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY SKETCHES & DAISIES

Hello to all,

Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter holiday. Here, both my husband and son were off from friday straitght through to monday. It was nice to have my daughter also. Of course we had the grand baby girls over, it was fun. Still, I manage to play in my craftroom early in the morn'. My first card is The Sweet sunday sketch challenge, which I so enjoy playing along with A day for daisies challenge all about stripes! I paper pieced the little one's dress and added a few RAIN DROPS ( I was hoarding) on the flowers and bigger ones as embellies. I really love Tammy's images so I used this one for spring is in the air too and it's starting to show finally.

My second card is for SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE #306  and to my surprise is hosted by A DAY FOR DAISIES, so for me it's double the fun. I love the simple sketch and I worked in the stripes too. (he, he, he). Paper pieced the little balloons too.

EASTER BUNNY PARTY

Hello to all, here I am on a beautiful friday with a new challenge from A CREATIVE NEED. I have this cute little bunny image from Deena's website I would like to intoduce. Isn't he sweet? I had fun coloring and inking them with different ink colors from Tim Holtz.

FRIENDS SPRING WALKIN'

Hello to all,

How glad I was to see the sun shine 
out this morning. 

Yes, it was a cold -14 celsius but seems 
we just can't win 'em all just yet.

Still, my walk was beautiful even
 if a little briskier than usual. :)

I am going out this afternoon, having a facial done.

This is not a habitual thing so I will make sure
 I enjoy every second of it.

So here is my card and yep, I will be joining my friend there so she beeing the initiator of this fun experience, I thought of making my card for her today.

EASTER IN STRIPES & FLOWERS

Here I am early on monday with a card I barely finished. I just love the acrylic crafter's I added on the popped-up bunny that the wait ( all night) was worth it. I know you don't usually have to wait so long, but I was a bit late starting the card, he he he.

I usedt this week's Featured Stamper on SCS; Sandy's beautiful card as inspiration for mine and entered Tammy's challenge for A DAY FOR DAISIES, which is all about EASTER.

LITTLE GIRL BLUE

Today was busier than yesterday but I did find some time after all the hustle & bustle to wind down and make this for your pleasure and mine. LOL

Glad I got to play again, I did the Free for all, great idea for the tone on tone Wendy. The CAS...hum is it really cas, don't know but I used the beautiful pallet of colors as inspiration. Last but not least, I did the mojo sketch .

MAXIE SPRING GIRL

Susan, you got me out playing today. I finally got Maxie out too. Well I had to resize the image I stamped, just didn't fit my card with my new printer/scanner (new beginning ha!) 

I made the sketch pretty much as is, the color challenge was the right fit for my mood which followed right into the ways to use it challenge and new beginnings; my stepdaughter is having a birthday (new year beginning) and just signed a lease for an appartment the is brand spanking new. Talk about a new beginning. It's so cool. Has all the new settings in the kitchen, integrated airconditioning/dehumidifier/air exhanger. The whole shebang! Anyway we are all thrilled and well, yeah Maxie loves anything new and she will be making sure she can find some place to 'niche' in my stepdaughter's new place.

Glad you gave me the challenge bug today Susan! You are a darling! And thank you all for stopping by today, it's always fun to see you did.
